It is an honour that my name has been listed in the Top 2% Scientists 2025 (both single year and career), made by Stanford University and Elsevier [Ioannidis, 2025]. Stanford University has recently published an update of the list of the top 2% most widely cited scientists in various disciplines, which is the most prestigious ranking in the world. The selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field based on Scopus data provided by Elsevier.
